2012 Annual Meeting

Just one year ago we were in a tiny storage unit and were holding classes (and our Annual Meeting) at a local business so we could have air conditioning!Today, we're in a ten times larger space, our membership has tripled, we’ve been in the Orlando Sentinel, the Orlando Weekly, made Orlando’s first Maker Faire a reality, and have taught over one thousand people how to solder. All this was made possible through your support of our mission to “improve ourselves and to enrich the world around us”.In order to continue fulfilling our mission, and have some fun along the way, your presence is required at our Annual Corporate Meeting on September 22nd at 1:00 pm at FamiLAB.  Members are invited to join us for lunch at noon prior to the meeting.On the agenda:

• A quick look back at what we’ve accomplished in just three short years
• The current state of FamiLAB, including the normal monthly financial summary (there will be no monthly meeting on the 3rd Tuesday)
• FamiLAB - Looking forward & voting new people onto the Board of Directors (see this members-only forum thread)

We ask that you RSVP on Eventbrite.Legalese: This meeting is required by our corporate by-laws and will include official voting on directors. Nominations will take place on the forums in advance of the meeting.
