Every month leading up to the 2013 Orlando Mini Maker Faire on October 5th, OSC hosts a Maker Saturday. This month the theme was ‘Robots’ and the FamiLAB crew taught Intro to Arduino ‘Blinky’, and was topped off with each student making and controlling their own animatronic puppet. It was huge fun.
Dave and the smartest and cutest kid in the world.
Mac, Thanks for the awesome pictures.
Thanks for posting these pictures! I’m the mom of that little guy who was so into being an Engineer! Thanks for teaching him, despite his young age, that science is fun, interesting and can be done at any age! He had a total blast and spoke the rest of the day about how he was an engineer! I love the pictures! Is there any way to get copies? You guys do a great thing! Thanks for bringing the fun of science and learning to our kids!
Lillian, thank you for bringing your son to the workshop – parents like you make this possible!
I’ve emailed the photographer and asked him to get you the originals.
Lillan, thank you for bringing your little engineer to the workshop.
Thanks so much, guys! I appreciate it!
It was so easy to get good pictures because there were so many kids and parents totally engaged with the projects. Last Saturday was magical thanks to people putting on the workshops… Dave, Pat, the OSC and FamiLAB instructors!
