In preparation of Eben Upton’s visit to FamiLAB on October 5th, 2012, I decree Saturday, September 29th a Raspberry Pi building day. If you have a Raspberry Pi and a project for it you haven’t quite got off the ground, show up and build! I am hoping we could knock out as many cool projects as possible. I’d like to pool technical skills, create bullet points, and have a whole slew of projects to show off October 5th.
Be there, or be square!
Update:
If you are not currently a FamiLAB member, still feel free to stop by. If you feel strange showing up without prior notice, consider joining the “Central Florida Raspberry Pi Users Group.”
This event is featured as a meetup. RSVP through there:

I just came across this site as it was linked on http://www.raspberrypi.org/ . I signed up for the Oct 5th event, but since I’m not a member yet and this Bake-Off event is tomorrow, can I still come to the bake-off event to gauge potential membership? I own 2 Raspberry Pi’s and have already put together a PBX system on 1 and am trying to build a MAME Arcade system on the other. Just curious if the bake-off is a “Members Only” event. Thanks.
Not at all. You’re welcome to join us!
Shawn, please come! But if your eyes look like your avatar, it may make us feel uneasy. ;)
Sweet! Consider me there!
