FamiLAB has finally moved into the new space, but it needs a little techie touch so we decided to go to town. Day 1 we focused on getting the RFID access control system installed and setting up some workbenches. We sacrificed several Arduino’s to the blue smoke, but the project came along nicely. The RFID reader was installed on the door, but we were still having some trouble getting everything wired up properly and secured to the door. Finally, at the end of the night, we had a working RFID security system and issued cards to members. A few of our solutions are temporary for now, but work amazingly well.
