FamiLAB members teach the Electronics Merit Badge

FamiLAB members have been working with leaders of BSA Troop 6 in Orlando, Florida to teach the Electronics Merit Badge. The Scouts learned basic electronic theory and components, digital circuits, binary, and gates. They also learned to draw schematics, solder and desolder. They built a control circuit kit from electronicsmb.com, and solved problems using Ohm’s law.

Hop over to RaisingGeeks for pics of the Scouts soldering, and building the kits.

Special thanks to Mack and Dave for their efforts!

FamiLAB will be offering open (any troop) classes for the Electronics Merit Badge later this fall. Contact us for more information.
